Job Description:
Our client is currently seeking a strong Swiss CNC Machinist for their shop. Experience with Star / Citizen or Swiss Tek machines needed. The ability to Set up / operate / process troubleshoot, edit programs and handle light maintenance issues. The ability to Program (Partmaker) when needed would be a plus. This is a well established company that is experiencing strong growth currently. Located in a beautiful coastal location!!
About the Position
As a CNC Programmer, your responsibilities would include:
Writing programs for and setting up the CNC horizontal machines centers
Writing programs for and setting up the CNC Swiss machines
Writing programs for and setting up CNC turning centers
Writing programs for and setting up CNC vertical mills
First or second shift
You don't need to be proficient at all machine types.
Programs can be written using Mastercam, Partmaker or can be written line by line.
Controls include Fanuc, Siemens and Okuma
Overtime is available
Management opportunities can be earned
Requirements:
o Experience with CNC Swiss Turn is ideal.
o Experience with CNC Lathe, and CNC Mill is a plus.
o Machine aptitude and willingness to learn through training.
o Excellent problem solving, math and communication skills.
o Ability to read and interpret blue prints and drawings.
o Ability to work with various machines, including but not limited to hand feeding machines.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
